The Town Hall's first-ever Summer Broadway Festival presented "A Night at the Operetta," on Monday, July 16, at 8pm.  Created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall, with musical direction by Fred Barton, "A Night at the Operetta" featured the great melodies of Sigmund Romberg, Rudolf Friml, Victor Herbert and other beloved composers from such classic operettas as The Student Prince, The Enchantress, Rose Marie, Sweethearts, The Desert Song, and The New Moon.  The opening night party was held at Tony's DiNapoli.
 
The cast included: Marc Kudisch and Christiane Noll (fresh from their acclaimed performances in The Witches of Eastwick); Gavin Lee (Tony-nominee for Mary Poppins), Mark Jacoby and Sarah Jane McMahon (NYCO's The Pirates of Penzance), Paul Schoeffler (Sweet Charity), Manu Narayan (Bombay Dreams), Rebecca Eichenberger (The Phantom of the Opera), Douglas Ladnier and Ludmilla Illieva (award-winning cabaret stars), William Michals (The Scarlet Pimpernel), Karen Murphy (All Shook Up), and opera star John Easterlin.

The Town Hall's Summer Broadway Festival continues on Monday, July 23rd at 8 PM with "Broadway's Rising Stars" and concludes on Monday, July 30th at 8 PM with "All Singing! All Dancing!," choreographed and directed by Noah Racey
