Peter Hermann, Mariska Hargitay Adopt Baby Boy

According to People.com, WAR HORSE star Peter Hermann and wife Mariska Hargitay have just adopted their second child- a baby boy named Andrew Nicolas Hargitay Hermann.

Hargitay told People: "We never in a million years thought it would happen this quickly, but something inside of us knew that this was right, and we said, ‘Yes, yes, yes! We knew this was our guy. Everything about it felt right. It felt divinely right."

Herman, who currently starrs in Broadway's WAR HORSE, has also appeared in  Guiding Light (1997-1998), the ABC Family show, Beautiful People (2006) and the Lifetime original series, Angela's Eyes (2006). Since 2002 he has had a recurring role as Trevor Langan, a defense attorney on Law & Order: SVU.

Hargitay is known for her role as New York City sex crimes Detective Olivia Benson on the NBC television drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, a role that has earned her multiple awards and nominations, including an Emmy and Golden Globe.
