Performances Cancelled-Hurricane Rita Wallops Florida
Dear Reader,
Throughout South Florida, businesses are closed and only emergency vehicles are allowed on the road in many areas.
This type of weather system can likely be with us at least until sometime Wednesday. The hurricane seems to be moving north, currently being strongly felt in Broward and Miami Dade Counties. Over 20,000 customers are already without power in South Florida. Use common sense and discretion.
ANYONE HOLDING TICKETS for any event--TELEPHONE to make sure the event is still taking place. You may want to consider the danger of driving in conditions you may encounter on the road. MOST, if not all events in South Florida have already been cancelled. This is likely to happen in other areas of our state. Again, before venturing out ANYWHERE today, verify that your destination is operating and double check your personal safety.
