Perez Hilton Sings 'A Perez Hilton Christmas' for Broadway's CAROLS FOR A CURE

Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton added his voice to the 2012 Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 14, singing an original song called "A Perez Hilton Christmas," with music by Lynn Pinto & Jason Michael Webb, and lyrics by George Howe & Frances Limoncelli. Perez Hilton is making his New York stage debut in the comical off-Broadway revue "NEWSical The Musical."

Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 14, which benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, is the 2-disc, annual CD of original and traditional holiday music recorded by stars and casts from the current Broadway shows. Stars who have already recorded include Ricky Martin from "Evita," Chita Rivera from "THE MYSTERY of Edwin Drood," and Hugh Panaro from "The Phantom of the Opera." Other shows recording include "Wicked," "Mamma Mia!" "Newsies," "Rock of Ages," "MARY POPPINS," "Once," "Spiderman," and Kate Wetherhead, Benjamin Eakeley, Howie Michael Smith and Joanna Shubart, representing The John Engeman Theatre.

As always, the CDs will be sold during a six-week "Gypsy-of-the-Year" fundraising period, which runs from October through early-December at participating Broadway and off-Broadway shows in New York.
