The Rising Action Theatre presents
Paul Rudnick's Hit Comedy
The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told

A long running off-broadway hit, Fabulous is Paul Rudnick's retelling of the bible with Adam and Steve; Jane and Mabel.  The play begins in the garden of Eden with Adam and Steve. After being banished from Eden,  they encounter Jane and Mabel who insist that they were earth's original couple.  Together the quartet survives the centuries including time on the Ark during the Flood years, slavery in Egypt and life in contemporary New York.

Paul Rudnick is the playwright who wrote Jeffrey, The New Century and I Hate Hamlet. He also wrote the screenplays for In and Out, Adam's Family Values, and Sister Act.  He is the winner of The Outer Critics Circle Award for his play Poor Little Lambs and The Obie Award and the John Gasner Playwrighting Award for Jeffrey.  He has written two Novels: Social Disease and I'll Take ItBen Brantley of The New York Times says 'Paul Rudnick may be the funniest writer for the stage and he confirms that with Fabulous.'

The play features Emily Ocheltree, Kathryn Bain, Larry Fields, Ricardo Rodriguez, Martica De Cardenas, Laura Di Benedetto, Robert Tamayo, Robert Grahm, and Kelly O' Sullivan. The show is directed by Larry Brooks.
