According to The Huffington Post, actor Paul Rudd will be making additional guest appearances on the NBC comedy PARKS & RECREATION. The actor will return for a reported three additional episodes. Rudd is no stranger to the stars of the NBC sitcom having appeared in films with cast members Adam Scott, Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones.

On the sitcom, Rudd has appeared in the role of Bobby Newport, a political rival to Poehler's Leslie Knope. Newport has recently jumped into the race for city councilman, and being the son of the owner of the company which supports a large percentage of the town, he has an immediate advantage over his opponent Knope. Rudd brings a combination of innocence and stupidity to his role, which somehow makes him attractive to his constituents.

Rudd's other TV credits include a recurring role on 'Friends' as well guest spots on 'Veronica Mars' and a voiceover on Fox's long running animated series 'The Simpsons'. He will next be seen on the big screen in 'Wanderlust' with co-star Jennifer Aniston.

NBC's PARKS AND RECREATION comes from Emmy Award-winning executive producers Greg Daniels (NBC’s "The Office," "King of the Hill") and Michael Schur (NBC’s "The Office," "Saturday Night Live"). It follows Leslie Knope (Emmy nominee Amy Poehler, NBC’s "Saturday Night Live," "Baby Mama") a mid-level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana, and her tireless efforts to make her quintessentially American town just a little bit more fun.

In addition to Poehler's Emmy nomination, the show received two 2010 Television Critics Award nominations, for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy and Individual Achievement in Comedy (Nick Offerman as Ron Swanson), and Entertainment Weekly named it "TV's Smartest Comedy" in a 2011 cover story.

PARK & RECREATION airs Thursdays at 8:30 pm/ET on the NBC network.
