Pace University Casting MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR

"Merry Wives" will run at Pace's Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts in Lower Manhattan Thursday, October 28 - November 7 with rehearsals beginning around Saturday, October 23.  All roles are double-cast, so children will normally do half of the scheduled performances, but schedules will not be set until rehearsals are underway so children should NOT audition if they do have more than 1 or 2 conflicting commitments.
 
We will be casting two performers ages 10-12 for the speaking role of Robin the Page, preferably a boy with a genuine British or regional accent (no Cockney). We are prepared to go slightly older or slightly younger,  and we would consider a girl with a genuine accent (again, no Cockney)  Good singing voice desirable, and it is crucial that boys' voices have not broken. Height is not important, but they must look and sound like children, not teenagers. These performers may possibly be invited to perform with the company in California October 11-24 if available and interested.
 
Also casting 8 young dancers M/F ages 9-12 under 5 feet tall only, as masked and costumed sprites in the final act (also double-cast) who can move dramatically and expressively. Prefer some stage experience and good singing voices for the ensemble curtain call.
 
Pay is $55/performance or rehearsal, plus $10 travel allowance each working day.
