Doesn't it sound like a great idea to enjoy a one act Opera after your lunch? Two operas will be presented with sparkling performances by professional singers and actors, and accompanied by the piano and the violin. One hour of classical music mixed with a comedy play, written by Simon Callow,

Would you like to know what happens back stage at an opera theatre? Struggling Divas and greedy producers amusingly battle it out.... All of these you will see in this brilliantly comedic one act opera, written by Mozart and adapted by Simon Callow.

SALIERI "FIRST THE MUSIC, THEN THE WORDS" 16th,17th,23rd of July 2011 at 1.00 PM

The deadline is in four days. They have to write an opera! Will they succeed in deciding what come first: the music or the words? This opera is a mixture of tragicomedy with a hint of Commedia dell'arte, the music of Antonio Salieri, and the witty dialogues by Simon Callow.
