Hop in the passenger seat of Elizabeth's Toyota, as she goes looking for the real America - and finds a lot more than she bargained for. 7 weeks, 9,000 miles, 25 states, 5,000 songs and one can of bear spray - through mountains and deserts, from sea to shining sea. At turns hilarious and poignant, smart and ridiculous, all over is a (mostly true) story about optimism, patriotism, and driving around.

Author/performer Elizabeth Audley is currently (and soon to be simultaneously) appearing in David Cromer's Our Town, directly across the street from the Actors' Playhouse at the Barrow Street Theatre.

ELIZABETH AUDLEY (Author/Performer) has performed in theaters from Maine to Milwaukee. Her favorite activity is driving around and listening to the radio - which she does a lot of while she's looking for a parking spot in Brooklyn, where she lives. "Elizabeth Audley resembles a young Carol Burnett, but has a wonderful sense of self assurance that that noted comedienne didn't
display in her early years." -- Peter Filichia, NJ Star Ledger

Jack Young (Director) has directed more than 100 plays including Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, A View From The Bridge, Arcadia, The Odyssey, The Cherry Orchard, Fool for Love, and The Servant of Two Masters.

In his ten seasons as Artistic and Executive Director of The Warehouse Theatre (Greenville, SC), he produced over 125 plays. He is currently the head of Acting and Directing at the University of Houston. His training includes a BA in Theatre from Virginia Tech, Apprenticeship at Actors Theatre of Louisville, an MFA from the Professional Actor Training Program at the University of Washington under Bob Hobbs, and additional training with Anne Bogart and the SITI company.
