WOODSTOCK FRINGE in association with JUDSON ARTS is pleased to announce the world premiere production of OH VIRGIL! A THEATRICAL PROTRAIT by Woodstock Fringe Producing Artistic Director, Wallace Norman, in collaboration with Larry Alan Smith, under the musical direction of Michael Conley and directed by Nicola Sheara. OH VIRGIL! A THEATRICAL PORTRAIT plays a two-week limited engagement at the Judson Memorial Church (55 Washington Square South). Performances begin Friday, May 1st and continue through Sunday, May 10th. Opening Night is Friday, May 1st at 8 p.m.

Thomson is considered to be one of the most remarkable, influential and controversial artists in the history of contemporary American music. In this new play with music, eight of Thomson's art songs and several of his piano portraits are part of this kaleidoscopic portrait of a man and a time when the world of modern art and music exploded.

Oh Virgil! is made possible by the generous leadership support of The Virgil Thomson Foundation.

The productions features Victoria Devany*, Watson Heintz*, Troy Valjean Rucker*, Victor Truro* and Dan Via*. Appearing Courtesy of Actors' Equity Association.

The production features scenic design by Craig Napoliello, costume design by Raul Aktanov and lighting design by Jake Platt. Jillian Zeman is the associate producer and production stage manager.
