'OCTOMOM THE MU$ICAL' will begin performances in Los Angeles on June 19th at the Bang Studio.

In a recent interview with Todayshow.com, OCTOMOM writer Christian Voltaire said that the title role is still open. "We're looking for a great singer, pole dancer, and child-rearing comedienne," says Voltaire. And it would help "if they looked a little like Angelina Jolie."

Most important, he adds, "we want someone who is not going to pre-judge the Octomom. We intend to portray her as an American patriot who's doing her best to stimulate the economy the only way she knows how."

Press notes indicate that "each show will always be a little different with secret notorious celebrity cameos appearing at every performance! Even the actors on-stage won't know who!"

OCTOMOM THE MUSICAL is a fast-paced musical pastiche ripped from the headlines featuring Ccto, Bernie Made-off and many more!!! Must be seen to be believed! An epic for our strange times!

It's not just about Octomom but the numerous public figures we've grown to love and hate and love to hate over these last six-nine months! Think about some of those figures who have caught our attentions on the TV and online and you'll have a good idea what this fast-paced musical romp is going to offer!

The show is from the creative mind of Chris Voltaire and strives to offer social commentary about the wild and strange times of America at the dawn of 2K9. Let's just say it's more than coincidence his last name is Voltaire.
