North Shore 'Les Mis' Raises $65,400 for BC/EFA

Actors in North Shore Music Theatre's recent production of Les Miserables raised $65,400 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) during the show's 4 week run. This is a record breaking collection for NSMT. Donations of any size were collected from audience members after each show. For any donation of $20 or more the cast gave a signed poster, donated by Deschamps Printing of Salem.

The talented cast of Les Miserables featured Inga Ballard, Allison Blackwell, Charlie Brady, Renée Brna, Michael Busillo, Jameson Cooper, Jacquelyn Piro Donovan, Martin Giannini, Charles Hagerty, Lauren Hauser, Sebastian Hoffman, Todd A. Horman, Devin Ilaw, Fred Inkley, Joanne Javien, Jason Kraack, Lindsey Lake, Ryan Mark Malyar, Isabelle Miller, Mara Newbery, Weston Wells Olson, Amanda Paulson, Devin Richards, Joanna Rosen, Danny Rothman, Adam Sansiveri, Ashley Catherine Schmitt, Matt Stokes and Natalie Weiss and Ron Wisniski.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is the nation's leading industry-based, not-for-profit AIDS fundraising and grant making organization.  BC/EFA is the on-going, committed response from the American Theatre community to an urgent worldwide health crisis.  By drawing upon the talents, resources and generosity of this community, BC/EFA raises funds for AIDS-related causes across the United States, including Massachusetts.  Since its founding in 1988, BC/EFA has raised millions of dollars for critically needed services for people with AIDS, HIV, or HIV- related illnesses, as well as working closely with other organizations, such as The Phyllis Newman Women's Health initiative, who assists women and their families who are affected by cancer.
