Daily Mail reports that Nicole Kidman is in talks for the Terence Rattigan play, After The Dance, which would play on Broadway in spring or fall of next year.

According to Daily Mail, the plot follows a man who leaves his wife for a younger woman. Kidman would play the character of Joan Scott-Fowler, who married her husband on a whim in the 1920's. Kidman made her Broadway debut in 1998 in David Hare's The Blue Room. After The Dance would mark her first stage appearance in more than 14 years.

After The Dance had a run at The National Theatre in 2010 with Nancy Carroll and Benedict Cumberbatch in the leads and with Thea Sharrock in the director's helm. It won the Olivier awards for best revival and best actress.
