The New York Choral Society will celebrate its 53rd Anniversary with a Spring Gala on March 29 at The National Arts Club.  Music DirectorJohn Daly Goodwin will be honored for his 25th anniversary and final season with the New York Choral Society with the Outstanding Leadership Award and joined by friends and patrons in honoring Laura R. Walker, who will be presented with the Distinguished Service to Music Award. 

Ms. Walker was a singing member of NYCS during the tenures of maestros Robert De Cormier and John Daly Goodwin.

The cocktail reception will begin at 6:00 PM followed by a seated dinner at 7:00 PM.  Afterwards, guests are invited to enjoy a dessert reception.

Entertainment will be provided by soprano Angela Meade and the Young People’s Chorus of New York. The evening will also feature a silent auction of items generously donated by friends and patrons of the Choral Society.
