By: Kelsey Denette
New Repertory Theatre, in residence at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, is pleased to announce The World Goes ‘Round, the award-winning musical revue of Kander and Ebb, as its 2011 Summer Show. The World Goes ‘Round begins performances on July 10 and runs through July 31, 2011. The press opening will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 7:30pm.
"After concluding a terrific season, we are excited to be able to continue to provide the Greater Boston theatre community with an entertaining and stimulating summer production," says Kate Warner, New Rep's Artistic Director. Warner continues, "The songs of Kander and Ebb are poignant and everlasting. Whether it's the catchy, jazzy tune ‘Mr. Cellophane,' the powerful and moving song ‘Maybe This Time,' or the witty upbeat melody ‘The Grass is Always Greener,' audience members will be amused by these familiar tunes, impressive choreography, and talented cast. The World Goes ‘Round will be the must-see musical this summer."Videos
