SMASH Season Two standout Jeremy Jordan features prominently in a performance rehearsal sequence from an upcoming episode of the NBC musical drama series with the new HIT LIST song, "I Heard Your Voice In A Dream".

Written by Andrew McMahon - of indie band Jack's Mannequin - the lyrical, yet propellingly rocking tune showcases Jordan's ease of ability in scaling top tenor notes with effortless ease, as well as infusing his performance with passion and precision all the while.

Leaping from a multi-tiered scaffold at the start, Jordan joins with dancers to perform a spirited routine during the song, whilst Karen (Katharine McPhee) croons from atop another scaffolding structure.

Judging from this recently released video, "I Heard Your Voice In A Dream" clearly represents yet another addition to the score for HIT LIST, the new S2 featured musical-within-the-series depicting the lives and loves of downtown artists, drug addicts and other colorful characters ala Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer Prize-winning RENT.

This song is to be included in next week's first of two episodes scheduled to air, one on Tuesday and one on Saturday, SMASH's new timeslot.

SMASH currently airs Tuesdays at 10 PM on NBC, for one more week. On April 6, SMASH moves to Saturdays for the remainer of Season Two.
