Nero Fiddled Presents 'Life After Bush' Starting 10/17

NERO FIDDLED is pleased to announce the world premiere production of LIFE AFTER BUSH, directed by Noah Diamond and Amanda Sisk. LIFE AFTER BUSH will play a limited, three-weekend, engagement at HERE Arts Center (145 Sixth Avenue, between Spring and Broome). Performances begin Friday, October 17 and continue until Sunday, November 2.

Against the backdrop of this historic election, an exuberant cast paints a musical and comic portrait of the American political scene - a satire so sharp that within a few months, Bush and Cheney will have no choice but to leave office.On Election Night, as the world awaits LIFE AFTER BUSH, there will be a special event which will feature real time results on the electoral map, speeches on live television, blogging stations, and reports from correspondents across the nation, beginning at 6 p.m.Saturdays at 7 p.m.

Tickets may also be purchased in person at the HERE box office, which opens at 4pm, on performance days only. The performance runs 90 minutes. For more information please visit www.lifeafterbush.netBIOGRAPHIESNOAH DIAMOND (Playwright/Director) is the co-artistic director of NERO FIDDLED. With his collaborator Amanda Sisk, he has written, produced and directed each of the NERO FIDDLED theatrical productions: City Under Siege (Under St. Marks, 2004), Burning Bush: A Faith-Based Musical (HERE Arts Center, 2005), Moral Value Meal (Urban Stages, 2006), 400 Years in Manhattan (HERE, 2007), and now Life After Bush. Diamond and Sisk are also the authors of the NERO FIDDLED political blog (nerofiddled.net), and Diamond was a founding member of BlogCall, a series of conference calls for political bloggers organized by Bob Fertik of democrats.com. Prior to NERO FIDDLED, Noah wrote and performed in a series of original plays and musicals, including Love and Cheese (Opus Theatre, Ft. Lauderdale), The Men in Mabel's Life (Township Center for Performing Arts, Coconut Creek) and Missing Manhattan (Under St. Marks). He spent seven years working as a New York City tour guide, and his tour has been featured on NY1 and Comedy Central. Earlier this year, he published his first book, 400 Years in Manhattan, based on the NERO FIDDLED show of the same name.
