Neil Patrick Harris, George Takei, Ellen and More Support GLAAD's Campaign to End Boy Scouts' Ban on Gay Members

GLAAD is currently leading a campaign to advocate for the Boy Scouts of America to change their policy of banning gay scouts and scout leaders. On Monday, the BSA said their Board of Directors will vote on changing the policy next week.

Neil Patrick Harris, Ellen Degeneres, George Takei and Martina Navratilova have all since spoken out on Facebook and Twitter in support of changing the policy since this announcement. For more about these stars' involvement, click HERE.

The Boy Scouts of America has opened a phone hotline for Americans to vote if they are "for" or "against" the policy. Neil Patrick Harris Tweeted the hotline number out. More info HERE.

Post a message of support on the Boy Scouts of America Facebook page. Example message: I think everyone should have the chance to take part in Scouting. I support an end to the ban on gay scouts and scout leaders.

3. Call

Call the BSA Headquarters at 972-580-2330 a representative will ask if you are for changing the policy to end the ban. Tell the representative you are FOR the policy change. (via Dallas Voice)
