Last Friday 5th October, Oscar® and Grammy® winning composer Stephen Schwartz hosted the first-ever Next Broadway Sensation Songwriter Showcase, co-produced by NYMF and The ASCAP Foundation.

The concert presented some of the hottest musical theater composers - who each accompanied one of our eight Next Broadway Sensation Finalists on a song hand-picked from their catalogue.
A great night was had by all, with numbers by John Bucchino (A Catered Affair), Adam Gwon (Ordinary Days), Ryan Scott Oliver (35MM), Michael Patrick Walker (Altar Boyz), Daniel Maté (The Trouble With Doug), and Michael Kooman & Christopher Dimond (Dani Girl).
