NY Couture Fashion Week to Debut 'Broadway Night' with Charity Performances, 2/16

Theater and fashion will share the spotlight for a special one-night only Broadway-themed fashion collection at this season's New York Couture Fashion Week. The collection will take place on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at The New Yorker Hotel in Manhattan.

Couture Fashion Week, the premiere couture fashion event in New York City since 2003, will Honor the Great White Way. The audience will be treated to live Broadway musical performances and dance routines during Andres Aquino, fashion designer and Couture Fashion Week producer's newest collection.

The exclusive after party will also feature an array of New York theater's best talent singing from the Broadway songbook as well as current pop hits. A portion of the proceeds will benefit BROADWAY SINGS FOR PRIDE a non-for-profit charitable organization that brings together Broadway talent, activists and celebrities to promote LGBT equality. All the talent participating are affiliated with Broadway Sings for Pride. This portion of Couture Fashion Week is being produced by Andres Aquino, Broadway Sings for Pride founder Neal B (www.NealB.tv) and Artists Proof Productions.

The Andres Aquino Aquino "First Lady Collection" fashion collection will be shown amid the dazzling list of performers scheduled to appear:

Entitled "The First Lady Collection", Aquino's designs embody the elegance and sophistication of First Ladies around the world, past and present, who have inspired fashion trends and admiration for their accomplishments as well as their style sense.

The "Broadway Rocks Fashion" after party will follow the show with an array of Broadway stars at EVR lounge. Part of the proceeds will benefit Broadway Sings For Pride Foundation.
