NY Couture Fashion Week Debuts BROADWAY NIGHT Performances, 2/16

Theater and fashion will share the spotlight for a special one-night only Broadway-themed fashion collection and after party at this season's New York Couture Fashion Week (couturefashionweek.com).

The night which will feature the newest collection by founder Andres Aquino, will benefit the Broadway Sings for Pride (http://www.broadwaysingsforpride.com/) non for profit organization. The collection will take place on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at The New Yorker Hotel in Manhattan. Couture Fashion Week, the premiere couture fashion event in New York City since 2003, will honor the Great White Way. The audience will be treated to live Broadway musical performances and dance routines during Andres Aquino, fashion designer and Couture Fashion Week producer's newest collection. The First Lady Collection" designs embody the elegance and sophistication of First Ladies around the world, who have inspired fashion trends and admiration for their accomplishments as well as their style sense. A portion of Couture Fashion Week is being produced by Andres Aquino, Broadway Sings for Pride founder Neal B (http://www.nealb.tv/) and Artists Proof Productions. The Andres Aquino Aquino 's "First Lady Collection" fashion collection will be shown amid the dazzling list of Broadway and New York theater performers. Scheduled to appear are: Dan Domenech (Glee, Broadway's Rock of Ages), Trista Dollison (Disney's The Lion King on Broadway & First National Tour), Adam Shapiro (Zorro The Musical International Tour, Broadway World Best Actor in a Musical Award-Boston Regional), Chondra Profit(Disney's The Lion King on Broadway), Romelda Teron Benjamin (Broadway's Brooklyn, Pre-Broadway's Catch Me If You Can), Noreen Crayton (Rent National Tour, Recording Artist), Ashley Arcement (Grease on Broadway, A Chorus Line at Paper Mill Playhouse), Adam Chandler (Parade and Zorro: The Musical International Tours), Sidney Erik Wright(Gentlemen Prefer Blondes National Tour, Broadway Bares), Elissa Goldstein (NBC Universal's An Affirmative Act) and Rachele Rommes (Minnesota Timberwolves dancer/choreographer).

The collection will be accessorized with exquisite pearl jewelry by Lucoral & Lupearl, an industry leader for over half a century. Andres Aquino has also teamed up with Mood Designer Fabrics, the largest and most popular fabric source in New York City. The inspired makeup and hair designs for the fashion show will be done by Tarek Abbas for Lancome and Elie Esper Salon and their talented teams, the official makeup and hair stylists for Couture Fashion Week.

The "Broadway Rocks Fashion" after party will follow the show with an array of Broadway and New York theater's best talent. The upscale affair will take place at Loi Restaurant around 10pm and going to about midnight. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Broadway Sings For Pride organization.
