NOW PLAYING: Colorado Ballet Presents Tchaikovsky's THE SLEEPING BEAUTY
Colorado Ballet opens its 2012-2013 season with the classical storybook ballet, THE SLEEPING BEAUTY playing now through at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver, CO. This beloved fairy tale features choreography by Marius Petipa and music by Tchaikovsky, performed by the Colorado Ballet Orchestra.

First performed as a ballet in 1890, THE SLEEPING BEAUTY tells the story of a beautiful princess cursed to sleep for 100 years by a wicked fairy. A prince breaks the curse with true love’s kiss in this ballet appropriate for all ages.

Colorado Ballet presents the classic, THE SLEEPING BEAUTY enchanting audiences now through Octiber 15th. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. with a special performance on Wednesday, October 17 at 6:30 p.m at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in the Denver Center.
