Following their hit run on Broadway, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart return to the West End stage in Harold Pinter's classic play No Man's Land. One summer's evening, two ageing writers, Hirst and Spooner, meet in a Hampstead pub and continue their drinking into the night at Hirst's stately house nearby. As the pair become increasingly inebriated, and their stories increasingly unbelievable, the lively conversation soon turns into a revealing power game, further complicated by the return home of two sinister younger men.

Also starring Owen Teale and Damien Molony, don't miss this glorious revival of Pinter's comic classic. The broadcast will be followed by an exclusive Q&A with the cast and director Sean Mathias.

Launched in 2009, National Theatre Live broadcasts have been seen by an audience of over 5.5 million people at 2000 venues in 55 countries. The first season began in June 2009 with the acclaimed production of Phédre starring Helen Mirren. Recent broadcasts include Helen McCrory in Terence Rattigan's The Deep Blue Sea, Rory Kinnear in Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's The Threepenny Opera, the Olivier Award-winning production of Martin McDonagh's Hangmen, Rosalie Craig in As You Like It, the Donmar Warehouse production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Madeleine Worrall in Jane Eyre, and James Franco and Chris O'Dowd in the Broadway revival of Of Mice and Men.
