BIG SCREEN'S Molly Ringwald TO BRING NEW KIND OF PIZZAZZ TO TITLE ROLE OF EVER-DAZZLING MUSICAL SMASH, SWEET CHARITY MARCH 6-11, 2007 AT RAYMOND F. KRAVIS CENTER.

Fun, Laughs and Good Times are coming to West Palm Beach. Broadway Across America – Palm Beach and Florida Theatrical Association present the National Tour of the Broadway hit SWEET CHARITY starring film star Molly Ringwald at the Raymond F. Kravis Center March 6 – 11, 2007. Show times are Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8pm, and matinees Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.

Tickets for the Palm Beach engagement of SWEET CHARITY range from $22.00 - $75.00 not including applicable handling or service charges. Purchase tickets only from the following authorized ticket sellers at Broadway Across America – Palm Beach, Kravis Center for the Performing Arts or Ticketmaster. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Kravis Center Box Office or by phone and internet at 561-832-7469 or www.kravis.org. Molly Ringwald's big screen success began with the romantic comedy, "Pretty In Pink." Other notable films include "The Breakfast Club," "Sixteen Candles," "The Pick-Up Artist" starring Robert Downey, Jr. and "Betsy's Wedding." A diverse talent, Ms. Ringwald turned her sights to television and received critical acclaim for her portrayal of real life AIDS victim Alison Gertz in "Something To Live For: The Alison Gertz Story." She has returned to the stage in recent years and was seen in tick, tick boom and Enchanted April and received rave reviews as Sally Bowles in another masterpiece, Cabaret.

The national tour of SWEET CHARITY is directed by Scott Faris (South Pacific starring Robert Goulet) and choreographed by Tony Award winner, Wayne Cilento. SWEET CHARITY received three Tony Award nominations – Best Musical Revival, Best Choreography and Best Actress. The Wall Street Journal called it "A blast." USA Today characterized Tony nominee Wayne Cilento's choreography as "exhilarating!" The 2005 Broadway Revival was directed by Walter Bobbie (CHICAGO).

With a book by Neil Simon based on an original screenplay by Federico Fellini, Tullio Pinelli and Ennio Plaiano, SWEET CHARITY is a funny, poignant and tender look at the misadventures of Charity Hope Valentine, a dance hall hostess who always gives her heart and earnings to the wrong man.

SWEET CHARITY'S score by Cy Coleman with charming lyrics by Dorothy Fields" (New York Times) includes the show-stopping numbers "If My Friends Could See Me Now," "Big Spender" and "Where Am I Going?" and is the story of one woman's belief that despite adversity -- all her dreams will come true.
