This first production since its New York run has delivered the goods with lots of laughs and love and a luscious cast directed by Michael Hall.
Starring Benim Foster, Rachel Jones, Margery Lowe and Jason Schuchman, Modern Orthodox is an uproarious fall-down-laughing commentary on modern day love, faith and tolerance.
Set in New York City, Modern Orthodox is about an Orthodox Jewish diamond dealer who moves in with a "High Holy Day" Jewish investment banker and his fiancé despite their protests. He meets a stunning single woman who responds to his personal ad (written by his new friends) posted on a Jewish online dating service. These 20 and 30-year-olds create a funny and touching representation of today's secular and religious youth looking for love.
