According to Showbiz411, Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz and Netflix chief Ted Sarandos have confirmed that more episodes of the hit series are on the way.

The series was recently revived with 15 new episodes, which became available concurrently on Netflix. According to Hurwitz, the response has been tremendous. "And to think the ratings that cancelled it were like 7 million," Hurwitz told Showbiz 411's Roger Friedman of Fox's cancellation of the show. "Now everyone would kill for that number."

With the entire original cast intact, Hurwitz confided that the new series has been a joy to work on. "Jason Bateman only had three weeks for us. He filmed all his scenes at once. And he was great," he commented. "Michael Cera is a star. Jessica Walter- how funny is she? That she would do the things we ask her-"

Hurwitz also commented on the success of making the entire new season available to fans in one fell swoop. "You saw how the last episodes answered the first ones," Hurwitz said. "We never tried anything like that before. But it worked."
