Spamalot actor Michael O’Donnell has co-written and directed MOVING MIKE, a film that will make its debut at the 10th annual Williamstown Film Festival on Thursday October 18 at Noon. He co-wrote the script with Chris Rempfer. O’Donnell currently stands by for five roles in the Broadway hit, and has also employed talents of Broadway performers like Spamalot cast members Thomas Cannizzaro and Billy Sprague Jr., as well as Capathia Jenkins, Eric Sciotto, J. Elaine Marcos, and Julio Monge. The film’s original score was composed by six-time pit veteran J.J. McGeehan and costumes were designed by Broadway talents Bruce Harrow and Dana Calanan.MOVING MIKE is a contemporary urban comedy set in Manhattan and details the aftermath of Mike Kelly’s latest break-up. His three best friends help him move out of his apartment and on with his life. They bring their own off-beat takes on where Mike is going with his life, who he should be going there with, and just which route he should take to get there. And don’t think that there wasn’t room for a big musical number choreographed by Broadway’s own John MacInnis.O’Donnell performed in the Las Vegas production of Spamalot. His Broadway credits include The Pajama Game, Wonderful Town, Cabaret, Victor/Victoria and Carousel. For more information on MOVING MIKE please visit: www.stjudepictures.com.
