Michael Schenker Group To Support BCC on July UK tour
It has today been confirmed that the legendary Michael Schenker Group will support Anglo-American rockers Black Country Communion on their forthcoming UK concerts in July 2011.
In a pairing that unites one of the most well-respected metal guitarists of all time with the hottest rock and roll band for years, BCC / MSG tour dates include - Llandudno Cymru Arena (July 23rd), Leeds o2 Academy (July 26th), Newcastle o2 Academy (July 27th), Glasgow o2 Academy (July 29th) and Manchester Academy (July 30th). Featuring the talents of Glenn Hughes, Joe Bonamassa, Jason Bonham and Derek Sherinian, Black Country Communion's July UK tour will follow the release of their highly anticipated second album "BCC 2" on June 13th. BCC will also appear at London's High Voltage Festival on Sunday July 24th.
The critically acclaimed Anglo-American rock supergroup Black Country Communion is pleased to announce a series of five major headline UK summer concerts, following their appearance at London's High Voltage Festival at Victoria Park on Sunday July 24th.
The band play Llandudno Cymru Arena (Saturday 23rd July), Leeds O2 Academy (Tuesday 26th July), Newcastle O2 Academy (Wednesday 27th July), Glasgow O2 Academy (Friday 29th July) and Manchester Academy (Saturday 30th July). Special guests on these dates are the legendary Michael Schenker Group.

BCC features the talents of vocalist/bassist Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Trapeze), blues rock guitarist/vocalist Joe Bonamassa, drummer Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin) and keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater).
Black Country Communion's self-titled debut album was originally released during September 2010 to rave reviews. It entered the official UK album chart at #13 and shot straight to #1 in the official UK rock album chart. BCC's debut also hit #3 in Classic Rock magazine's Critics Album of the Year poll, while Planet Rock radio listeners voted them as the Best New Band of 2010.
Black Country Communion are currently mixing their second studio album. The yet untitled album, produced by Kevin Shirley and rumoured to be their most explosive to date, is scheduled for June 2011 release.
