Michael Potts, Max Casella and More Set for MORE OR LESS I AM at The Greene Space at WNYC, 9/11

The-Greene-Space-at-WNYC-Presents-MORE-OR-LESS-I-AM-911-20010101

On Tuesday, September 11 at 7pm, The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space presents MORE OR LESS I AM, a powerful music-theater innovation drawn entirely from Walt Whitman's 1855 Song of Myself. Director Karin Coonrodis is resurrecting the acclaimed performance for one night only at WNYC's intimate, downtown broadcast and performance studio.

MORE OR LESS I AM is inspired by Whitman's address to the soul of America, a powerful declaration of the unity of all creation, a celebration of both the individual and the universal, and of the world's brilliant diversity. The riveting 55-minute production includes a cast of 16 performers with string ensemble accompaniment, including the Jacobsen Brothers (The Knights, Brooklyn Rider), Kenny Rampton (The Mingus Band), Michael Potts (The Book of Mormon), Max Casella (The Sopranos), Michael Rogers, Dietrice Bolden, Ayeje Feamster, Jorge Rubio, Giovanni Pucci, andSarah Heltzel, along with several members of the audience.

MORE OR LESS I AM plays Tuesday, September 11 at 7pm at The Greene Space, located at 44 Charlton Street (at Varick), New York, NY. Tickets: $15, available at www.thegreenespace.org.
