On October 8th, 2008 at 8PM the Metropolitan Room will host "What Matters" a benefit concert in honor of the 10 year observance of Matthew Shepard and the ongoing work of The Matthew Shepard Foundation. The concert will feature award winning Singer/Songwriter Randi Driscoll and Anthony Rapp ( RENT).

Randi Driscoll, whose song, What Matters has raised more than $40,000 dollars for the Matthew Shepard Foundation, will perform a series of concerts in several cities across the United States, to honor the ten year observance of Matthew Shepard's death and the growing work of the Matthew Shepard Foundation started by his parents. Along the way, she will be joined by musicians, speakers and entertainers.
The concert series will kick off at New York City's Metropolitan Room and will also feature MAC winner and cabaret performers David Gurland and Robbie Maitner, Sirious Out Q's Top 10 artist Josh Zuckerman, star of New York and London stage, Dwayne Britton and special guest artist for the evening, award winning entertainer and star of RENT, Anthony Rapp.
The artists will join together to and honor the legacy of Matthew Shepard and support the continuing efforts of the The Matthew Shepard Foundation.
Randi will also visit Minneapolis, where she will perform What Matters live on stage at a reading of the Laramie Project featuring TR Night (Grey's Anatomy) The tour will make stops in Las Vegas, NV, New Jersey, San Diego, CA and Charlotte, NC, where Randi will be joined on stage by the One Voice Chorus and national recording sensation, Jason and deMarco.
