Salem first captivated New York audiences with the hugely successful Off Broadway and Broadway runs of his show Mind Games on Broadway back in 2004, when his performances sold out the Lyceum Theatre. Salem was last on the New York stage with his show Mind over Manhattan in 2012, has since been appearing around the world and, most recently, concluded a three month run in Chicago with his show Mind over Chicago. He was even profiled on 60 Minutes by Mike Wallace, amazing Wallace and viewers around the world.
Salem, who has performed with actor Richard Dreyfus, Michael Strahan, singer Lou Reed, is a student of the mind for more than 30 years and one of the world's foremost authorities on non-verbal communication, uses psychological techniques, visual information, a sharp eye for human nature and years of training, all enabling him to peer inside the human brain. To his audience, however, he is a master mind reader who takes them on an excursion into the possibilities of the human mind. The mystifying, and brilliantly entertaining Marc Salem knows what's on your mind and proves it in an unforgettable display. He admits that he can read thoughts. But a thought is not the same thing as a mind says Salem. "Let me make a distinction. To read a mind means I can go in there, and pull out things you don't want me to get. A thought is something that you're focused on."
His current production even offers $100,000 to anybody who can demonstrate that Marc Salem uses any hidden assistance or hidden electronics throughout the remarkable events of the evening. Salem has performed around the world, astounding and entertaining millions. Mind Games enjoyed a successful season on Broadway and two extended runs off-Broadway to both critical and popular acclaim, while his show Mind Games and All That Jazz broke records at Feinstein's at the Regency in New York. He completed five sell out seasons in London and has been held over at the Sydney Opera House and Singapore's Esplanade, along with many theatres from Montreal to Capetown.
