By:

Want to learn more about special education? Do you have a child with autism or another special need?

The public is invited to Meet The Authors Night at Plano Children's Theatre at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2011. You'll have the opportunity to meet an impressive panel of authors and ask them questions about  autism, writing, or special education. Our authors are:

Bobbi Sheahan and Kathy DeOrnellas, Ph.D., authors of What I Wish I'd Known About Raising a Child With Autism and  All About Texas Law and Kids;

Elizabeth Scott, author of  Raindrops on Roman and  The Autism Manual of Skills and Drills;

Nicholas Martin, author of  Supporting the IEP Process:  A Facilitator's Guide and Strengthening Relationships When Our Children Have Special Needs.

We also welcome our exhibitors, who include Plano Children's Theatre's Therapeutic Drama Program, Autism Speaks, Little Giant Steps,  Spirit Horse Equestrian Therapy,  Premiere Jewelry, and Juice Plus.
