The American Repertory Theater announced today the details for its annual gala Boundless, to be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Citi Wang Theatre, 270 Tremont Street, Boston.

Under the leadership of gala co-chairs RoAnn Costin, Linda & John Henry, and Maureen & Mike Sheehan, the A.R.T. is planning an evening of great dining and entertainment, building on the success of last year's gala, which raised over $1 million in support of the theater's mission to expand the boundaries of theater.

The event will begin with a cocktail party at 6:00pm, followed at 7:00pm by dinner, a live auction, and the artistic program, featuring a special performance by Emmy, Tony and Golden Globe-nominated artist Matthew Morrison, who is currently starring as J.M Barrie in the A.R.T.'s production of Finding Neverland on Broadway, and an appearance by the Boston Children's Chorus. Catering will be provided by The Catered Affair, wine will be provided by The Urban Grape, and floral arrangements will be designed by Ilex Designs.

The evening will also include the presentation of the A.R.T. Angel Award to Anne Finucane, Vice Chairman and Global Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer for Bank of America. A champion of the A.R.T. and the entire Boston arts community, Anne has worked tirelessly to elevate the arts and make the cultural resources of the city accessible to all. Anne will receive this award in recognition of and gratitude for the enormous impact she has had on the theater and in our community.

Individual supporter tickets begin at $1,000. Full and half table sponsorship packages, as well as corporate sponsorship opportunities, are available.

Winner of nine Tony awards since 2012 for All the Way, The Glass Menagerie, Pippin, and The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University is a leading force in the American theater, producing groundbreaking work in Cambridge and beyond. Artistic Director Diane Paulus advances the A.R.T.'s core mission to expand the boundaries of theater by programming events that immerse audiences in transformative theatrical experiences.

Proceeds from the gala will support the theater's artistic programming as well as its Education Experience and Community Connections initiatives. Through subsidized tickets to world-class productions, mentoring opportunities, innovative theater workshops, artist talks, and more, the A.R.T. is dedicated to expanding the community's engagement with great theater.

Additional information is available and tickets and tables may be purchased on the A.R.T. website: http://americanrepertorytheater.org/boundless2016.
