100% funded by fans through Kickstarter.com, Matt Doyle (War Horse, Spring Awakening, Bye Bye Birdie) is thrilled to release his first EP. Co-written by composer/musical director, Will Van Dyke, "Daylight" draws inspirations from the golden age of soul music. In addition to the original music, the EP will also include a cover of "Lost and Lookin" by Sam Cooke.

Recorded in Nashville and New York City, "Daylight" was meticulously cast with some of the finest musicians in the country.

Doyle joined the original cast of Spring Awakening on Broadway at the age of 19. As an actor, Matt continues to work on Broadway (currently appearing in War Horse) and is also known for his recurring role as Jonathan on The CW's Gossip Girl. Matt has performed to sold-out audiences in New York's hottest venues, including Joe's Pub, and Feinstein's at the Regency.

A release concert is currently scheduled for August 15th at 10 PM at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City. Tickets will go on sale shortly.

The EP is now available on both iTunes (http://bit.ly/iDaylight) and Amazon MP3. Physical copies are also available on CDBaby.com (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/mattdoyle).
