Mark Nadler Comes To The Rrazz Room 7/30 Through 8/2

Mark Nadler, prominent singer/pianist, cabaret performer, and actor brings a new show to The Rrazz Room, Hotel Nikko, 222 Mason, SF July 30-August 2. All shows are at 7 PM. Tickets are $35- $40 and can be purchased at www.therrazzroom.com or directly through www.ticketweb.com or 866 468 3399.

Mark Nadler brings his dazzling talents to Ira Gershwin's catalog of music. Ira Gershwin wrote with his brother, George Gershwin, as well as with Jerome Kern, Kurt Weill, Harold Arlen and many others who are among the greatest tunesmiths of the Twentieth Century. Nadler presents the most well-known and the most obscure of Ira Gershwin's work in fresh arrangements that range from poignant, to playful to thrilling. Amusing and illuminating anecdotes round out this celebration of life and lyrics to create a show that is rich, absorbing and most of all, vastly entertaining.

A native of Waterloo Iowa, Mark began acting professionally at the age of 10. He moved to New York at 17 and has performed on and off -Broadway. He starred in and co-wrote the off-Broadway Gershwin revue, American Rhapsody and, Tchaikovsky (and Other Russians). With singer KT Sullivan he created and performs shows about Comden and Green, Dorothy Fields, Jule Styne and others. He has performed at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops Orchestra and has been a soloist with the numerous symphony orchestras. Broadway credits include Dame Edna: The Royal Tour and The Sheik of Avenue 'B'. On television Mark played Freddie Martini and was the musical director of Café DuArt as well as numerous other television guest appearances. Mark is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy.
