Marin Shakespeare 2011 Summer Fest Season Continues With THE TEMPEST

By:

Marin Shakespeare Company will present "The Tempest" by William Shakespeare, as directed by Jon Tracy. The Tempest is a magical, mysterious exploration of revenge, forgiveness and the transitory nature of dreams. Marin Shakespeare Company welcomes wunderkind director Jon Tracy who brings his own brand of magic to this enchanting romance.

Recalling the turn of the 19th century and touching on the current "steampunk" movement, Tracy is twisting "The Tempest," taking inspiration from inventor Nikola Tesla in this production which takes a look at what magic is to the modern audience.

Featuring Robert Parsons,* Michael Torres,* Scott Coopwood,* Lynne Soffer,* and George Maguire.*
