Mara Davi, Steve Blanchard, et al. Set for SOMEWHERE IN TIME Reading, 3/31

SOMEWHERE-IN-TIME-20010101

On Saturday, March 31, 2012, producer Ken Davenport (Godspell) will present a private industry reading of the new musical SOMEWHERE IN TIME, based on the 1980 Universal Motion Picture of the same name by Richard Matheson.

Directed by Scott Schwartz (Golda's Balcony, Jane Eyre), SOMEWHERE IN TIME features a book by Richard Matheson, music by Doug Katsaros (A...My Name is Alice, Moby Dick) and lyrics by Amanda Yesnowitz (The Caucasian Chalk Circle, The History of War).

SOMEWHERE IN TIME is the story of Richard Collier, who falls in love with the portrait of a woman, and travels back in time to be with her.

"I've been working on SOMEWHERE IN TIME for a few years now, and I'm so excited to have finally assembled such a wonderful team of artists for this beloved property," said Davenport. "Like the story's lead character, we're about to embark on a wonderful journey. And I can't wait to see where it takes us."

The March 31 presentation of SOMEWHERE IN TIME features Andrew Samonsky (South Pacific) as Richard, Mara Davi (The Drowsy Chaperone) as Elise and Steve Blanchard (Beauty and the Beast) as Robinson, with all other roles played by Liz Bachman, Carolee Goodgold, Michael Hance, Michael Pesce, James Sasser, Tina Stafford, Jessica Vosk and Jim Walton.
