Making Faces Productions & Ford Amphitheater Present FRACTURE 9/16
By: Gabrielle Sierra
LA dance companies come together in a show about breaking apart, each premiering an original work about "Fracture" accompanied by live musical compositions from members of String Theory. The experimental IN/EX troupe is creating their piece via Internet video from four different geographic locations. Invertigo's work is marked by wit, whimsy and theatricality. Method lives in a high-speed world making "perfect unions at the outer limits of physical control" (L.A. Times). A pre-show in the entry plaza by Leonix Movement Theatre Ensemble heralds the collaboration.
