Great Music at St. Bart's will present The Apple Hill Chamber Players in Concert today, March 10 at 3:00 pm.The Apple Hill Chamber Players are resident artists of Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music in New Hampshire, have won international praise for vital and elegant performances of chamber music literature, from 18th century masterpieces to new and commissioned works by leading composers. They serve as performing artists and core faculty for the internationally celebrated Summer Chamber Music Workshop held annually at Apple Hill. During the regular concert season, they travel across the United States, Europe, Middle East, and other areas performing concerts, conducting educational activities, and awarding scholarships to musicians of diverse backgrounds as part of the acclaimed Playing for Peace Project.Their concert will include Mozart's Quartet in D Minor, K. 421, the breathtaking Quartet #1 by György Ligeti and Edvard Grieg's passionate Quartet in G Minor.Tickets at $25 with a $15 for students and senior citizens may be purchased at the concert office at 325 Park Ave. between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm or by calling (212) 378-0248 or online at www.mmpaf.org.
