Longwood Players Present CITY OF ANGELS, 4/23-5/1
With film noir intrigue and big band jazz, City of Angels combines an old-fashioned detective story with Hollywood glamor in a hilarious musical comedy like you've never seen before!
City of Angels stars Todd Yard as novelist Stine and Curt Fennell as detective Stone, alongside Hilary Chadwick (Oolie/Donna), Kevin Cirone (Buddy/Irwin), Jennifer Honen Galea (Alaura/Carla), Dan Goldstone (Munoz/Pancho), Chris King (Jimmy Powers), Shonna McEachern (Bobbi/Gabby), and Mandy Mitchell (Mallory/Avril). The Angel City Four jazz quartet includes Kate deLima, Jocelyn Hesse, Jim Kopycinski, and Jenn Segawa, and the ensemble includes JoNathan Anderson, Mike Budwey, Edmund Golaski, Charles Hughes, Jeff Phillips, and John Warren.
City of Angels is directed by Katie Pickett, music directed by Julia Scott Carey, assistant music directed by Bethany Aiken, and choreographed by Michael Hogman. Winner of 6 Tony and 9 Drama Desk awards, with book by Larry Gelbart, music by Cy Coleman, and lyrics by David Zippel
