Local Author Roberta Markbreit To Appear At The Book Court 9/16

Local author Roberta Markbreit published her first book titled "On The Street Where I Lived: Autobiography of a Child". Her nearly photographic memory of her experiences growing up in the East Lakeview area of Chicago, are described in her memoirs. Roberta cherishes her growing up years from walks with her father around Lake Michigan, Wrigley Field, and her social and political observances as a child, through World War II, the unexpected election of Harry Truman to the presidency, and much more.
