Lifedream Productions Presents Hell is Where the HEart IS 6/3-18

By:

Lifedream Productions is pleased to present Melissa Skirboll's new comedy, Hell is where the Heart Is, directed by Thom Fogarty, making its world premiere at the Gene Frankel Theater in New York, as part of the 3rd annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity.

A comic look at sibling rivalry and dysfunctional families fueled by bad dreams and unreliable psychic gifts. As circumstances force the sisters to confront their past, long buried family secrets surface. This family comedy meets theatre of the absurd, as reality shifts.

Hell is Where the Heart Is explores the nature of faith and the possibility of salvation while it skewers religion, the new age, and the occult. Do our beliefs shape our circumstances or vice versa? Are God and the Devil real? Do they take a personal interest in our lives? Or is this all just a bad dream? (If so, who's dreaming who?)
