LezCab to Feature New Works at The Duplex, 7/21

LezCab is a monthly cabaret series featuring performances of musical theatre songs performed, written, and/or about queer women. This month's LezCab will feature new works, written for queer women characters. It will be held Sunday, July 21 at 7 p.m. at The Duplex located at 61 Christopher Street in the West Village.

This event will feature out performers: Joanna Burns, Elizabeth Pryce Davies (The Guthrie), Sharisse Francisco, Emily S. Groseland (Emotional Creature), Kristin Rose Kelly, Erin Maya, Julia Osen Averill, Corynne Peters (NYU), and Caitlin Lee Reid (Lesbian Love Octagon), and will be hosted by Arielle Harding.

This months' special event will be showcasing the work of emerging musical theatre writers Naomi Matlow, Tidtaya Sinutoke, EllaRose Chary, Joel Waggoner, Christina Capatides, Benny Gammerman, Liana Stillman, Willem Oosthuysen, Blake Pfeil, Kimberlea Kressal (Lesbian Love Octagon), Will Larche (Lesbian Love Octagon), Jenifer Toksvig, Alexander Rudd, Lauren Goldman Marshall, Michael Wartofsky, James K. Ballard, and LezCab's founders Teresa Lotz and Rachel Kunstadt.

The concert, with direction by Rachel Kunstadt and musical direction by Julianne B. Merrill, will take place at The Duplex Cabaret and Piano Bar.
