Speaking about the making of the album, Laura Curtis said:
"It's certainly been quite a journey for us as composers. Every song on the album has been specifically written with the artist who performs it in mind. The music on the album spans several genres but the one thing they have in common is that they are all very melody-driven. We both were heavily influenced by composers such as Richard Rodgers and Nicholas Brodzsky as children and we think this definitely comes through in some of our music, especially in You Caught Me Off Guard, performed by Sierra Boggess and No Time For Romance, performed by Simon Bowman. The latter is actually a song which is from the Richard Burton musical that we are currently developing".
Love on 42nd Street is released on 17th March 2014 and will be available to buy at Amazon and www.danandlauracurtis.com. It will also be available on iTunes and Amazon Mp3.
