LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE Adds 6 More Weeks to Chicago Engagement
Daryl Roth, producer of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE, has announced that the Chicago production, which kicks off the show's first national tour, is adding six more weeks to its premiere engagement now extending through Dec. 4, 2011. Television and Broadway veterans Taylor Miller ("All My Children"), who will start performances on Oct. 25, 2011 and Loretta Swit ("MASH"), who will start on Nov. 8, 2011, will be part of the star-studded rotating cast of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE through Dec. 4, 2011 at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place, located at 175 E. Chestnut St., Chicago. I
ndividual tickets for LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE through Dec. 4, 2011 go on sale tomorrow, Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. Additional casting information for the second block of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE will be announced at a later date.
LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE, with its starry cast and wildly entertaining subject matter, is the toast of New York. This intimate collection of stories by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron and directed by Karen Carpenter, opened in October, 2009 at New York's Westside Theatre to rave reviews and has been extended again and again by popular demand. This collection of vignettes and monologues is based on the best-seller by Ilene Beckerman, as well as on the recollections of the Ephrons' friends. Like the popular book, Love, Loss, And What I Wore uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to.
