LMAO Returns to NY for Summer Performances, 7/3-9/2

Improv troupe, EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH (www.eightimprov.biz), is returning LMAO (Formerly Off Broadway, www.lmao-nyc.com/lmao) to Times Square this summer at the Broadway Comedy Club (318 West 53rd St, New York, NY 10019). Performances for the interactive musical comedy are July 3 and 25 at 8pm, September 2 at 3pm. Tickets to the shows are available via Ovationtix for $20-35 (866-811-4111). No drink minimums for VIP ticket holders (1st beverage from bar included).

LMAO ran Off Broadway at the Midtown Theater late 2009 thru early 2011. With a few rare NYC public performances the show has been touring colleges, theaters, clubs and corporate/private performances nationwide. On July 3, 2012 at 8pm, fan favorites David “DMG” Green and John “NOT JACKIE” Gleason return to the LMAO roster. Both were torn away from LMAO by cruise ship contracts for two years, and at the same time happen to be on break, tanned and ready for comedic action before returning to sea. The July 3 show will also feature stand-up by popular NYC comic, Maddog Mattern. (PS also Major Birthday celebration for Host Walt Frasier LMAO). EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH is also expanding its popular family friendly afternoon series, Improv 4 Kids (www.improv4kids.com). June 23rd thru Labor Day the show will run Wednesday through Sunday at 3pm. Many performances already sold out (or nearly sold out) thanks to group sales from camps, scouts and other non-profits. Beat the heat; enjoy belly busting laughs and sip a cool beverage with the family all summer long. Saturdays at NOON bring the kids in early for a comedy class.

All LMAO shows are hosted by founding member, Walt Frasier (Letterman, MTV, VH1, WE, NICK, Off Broadway, Broadway tours). This cast still features many members from the 2009/2010 Off-Broadway run and many amazing new talents – PatRick Reidy (Musical Director), Paul DeGrocco, Amelia Fowler, Rebeca Diaz, John Rhea, Andy Scannell, Andrew Del Vecchio, Bobby Savage, Brian Simmons, Liz Lord, Allan Dorsey, Nathan Armstrong, Noel Olivencia and other guest artists.
