
Kristin Piacentile stars in the industry-only reading of "Lost In Love," a new musical based on the hit songs of Air Supply, tonight April 23 and tomorrow, April 24. She plays the love interest of Constantine Maroulis ("Rock of Ages," "American Idol").
Andrea McArdle (Tony Award winner for "Annie") also stars in a cast featuring Broadway veterans Justin Matthew Sargent ("Rock of Ages," "Bonnie & Clyde"), Beau Allen ("Best Little Whorehouse," "Jesus Christ Superstar," original production) and Adinah Alexander ("Wicked" and "The Wedding
Singer"). Other casting includes William Blake ("American Idol" Season 4); Brian Golub (Disney's "When In Rome"), Georgia Haege ("Lizzie Borden the Musical"), and Jamie Epstein ("The Velveteen Rabbit.")
Piacentile has appeared on the big screen in "Across The Universe" and "Kinsey," among many others and the small screen on the "Onion News Network: and the web series "47th Floor." Ms. Piacentile has performed the National Anthem at New York Yankees Stadium, Newark Bears Stadium and Toledo Mudhens Stadium. She earned a BFA at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2010.
Graham Russell, who composed many of Air Supply's hits, has written four new songs for the musical and is developing the book with writer Melissa Bell. Robyn C. Lee directs. Air Supply's hits include "All Out of Love," "The One That You Love," and "Making Love Out of Nothing at All." Their musical "Lost In Love" is set in England in the early 1900s and has a Downton Abbey feel. As royalty and emerging American wealth collide, a man and a woman must decide to follow tradition or live for love.
