Kinetix Perform Gothic Theatre as Part of Tour

By:

Denver's prodigal rockers, Kinetix will perform Saturday, May 14 at Gothic Theatre as part of a spring tour culminating with a very special Friday late night performance at the Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival on June 3.

In addition to this local show, the band is also currently offering up a free download at http://kinetix.bandcamp.com of their first-ever acoustic show, recorded live this January at Denver's Dazzle Jazz. These songs offer a unique and toned-down spin on the canon of a very upbeat and electric band, and also include a memorable rendition of Mumford & Sons' "Little Lion Man." The band is also at work on a new EP to be released later this summer.

Building off the success of last year's album, Let Me In (which reached #47 on the iTunes Top 200 Rock Charts) the band has had a busy touring schedule, winning over fans and critics with each performance.

"Their style is completely rockin', with just a dash of pop so that it's catchy without being cheesy; and their compositions are well crafted with proper build-up and execution... their instrumentation is top-notch and tight, with each member finding his niche and working with the rest of the group as a whole to create a very unique and powerful sound." - Jambase.com

"[In the studio] their songs are well-crafted and give equal amounts of attention to all five members... Conversely, on stage before their Summer Camp Festival crowd, Kinetix brought the hardest rock I heard all weekend." - NUVO Weekly

"Driven fiendishly by drummer Jack Gargan, Kinetix brought the audience through peaks and valleys with a fun blend of ska and pop punk featuring vocals by guitarist Adam Lufkin and keyboardist Eric Blumenfeld. The closeness of the musicians was obvious as their live show was genuine, tight and intuitive, and their communications hilarious." - Jambands.com
