Kimberly Faye Greenberg Featured in Two Shows at St. Luke's Theatre
By: Nicole Rosky
KIMBERLY FAYE GREENBERG, who has been playing ‘Sylvia Fine' in the long-running off-Broadway musical "DANNY and SYLVIA: THE DANNY KAYE MUSICAL", just opened in the new one-woman musical "ONE NIGHT WITH FANNY BRICE" also playing at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 West 46th Street, NYC.
Edmund Gaynes, the producer of both musicals, is offering a special ‘two-fer' deal for anyone who would like to see Kimberly in both musicals on the same day. Beginning with Sunday, May 8th, you can purchase tickets for the 2 PM matinee of "Fanny Brice" and the 4:30 PM performance of "Danny and Sylvia" for just $40. This special offer is for May 8, 15, 22 and 29 only. This special offering is available only at the St. Luke's Theatre Box Office, 308 West 46th Street, NYC and may be purchased in advance. Background: In the past, several actors have appeared in two different plays in NYC at the same time including John Cullum ("August, Osage County" and "Heroes"), Kathleen Chalfant ("Talking Heads" and "Savannah Bay"), Cynthia Nixon ("The Real Thing" and "Hurly Burly") and Raul Julia ("Two Gentlemen of Verona" and "Hamlet"). But I believe Kimberly Faye Greenberg is the first actress to star in two legit musicals in NYC at the same time. On May 8th "Danny and Sylvia" will begin playing Sundays at 4:30 PM."One Night with Fanny Brice", which opened March 16th, currently plays Wed., Sat. & Sun. at 2:00 PM at St. Luke's Theatre.
