Tony Award winning actress Katie Finneran gave birth to child Ty Michael Goldstein on February 3, 2011.

Finneran won the Tony for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Marge MacDougall in Broadway's "Promises, Promises," starring Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth. During the show, she met and married actor Darren Goldstein. Finneran left the show because of her pregnancy.

Katie Finneran won Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards for herperformance in Noises Off. She starred in Love, Loss and What I Wore, and Theresa Rebeck's Mauritius on Broadway for MTC, and Greg Kotis' Pig Farm for Roundabout. Broadway: Sally Bowles in Cabaret, The Iceman Cometh, Neil Simon's Proposals, You Never Can Tell, The Heiress, In the Summerhouse, My Favorite Year, Two Shakespearean Actors and On Borrowed Time. Off-Broadway: Arms and the Man, Encores! Li'l Abner, Bosoms and Neglect, A Fair Country and Edith Stein. London, West End: Fuddy Meers.
